Texas Flood Relief Resources

As many of you know, central Texas has experienced an unimaginable tragedy in the recent floods. My home town of Kerrville, TX has been torn apart, and my heart aches for every person that has lost family, friends, and loved ones. 

If you would like to donate to flood relief directly, I’ve listed places to support below. I will continue to update this page as I find more resources. 

Direct Donations

The Kerr County Flood Relief Fund supports relief and rebuilding efforts after the flood of July 4, 2025. Your generosity helps our neighbors recover.

The Community Foundation - a 501(c)(3) public charity serving the Texas Hill Country - will direct funds to vetted organizations providing rescue, relief, and recovery efforts as well as flood assistance. The Fund will support the communities of Hunt, Ingram, Kerrville, Center Point, and Comfort. All donations are tax-deductible, and you will receive a receipt for your gift.

Kerrville Pets Alive is a great organization that has been helping reconnect pets with families and rescuing animals in need.

The Kerrville Kroc Center is assisting with donations, volunteers, and more.

TEXSAR is responding to requests for support to the floods affecting Kerr County, and beyond, in Texas.

The Texas Game Wardens are assisting with search and recovery in the recent floods.

All proceeds will go toward supplies for the victims - water, tarps, blankets, toiletries, canned goods/nonperishables, etc. - that we will drive out and drop off at the shelters and reunification locations in Kerrville, Texas.

Help First Responders and Flood Victims Rebuild. Your donation goes straight to the heart of the Hill Country—supporting local families and frontline teams who need it most.

Ingram's fire department is in the thick of search, rescue, and clean up. Please consider donating. They also have an Amazon wishlist on their Facebook.

People wishing to make donations should look for the Venmo “Business” account listed as Center Point Volunteer Fire Department.. most importantly people need to look for the user name: CPVFDTX

The Kerrville Area Rebuilding & Recovery Fund is dedicated to supporting the long-term rebuilding efforts of the Kerrville Area. While immediate needs are being addressed, this fund will remain in place to assist with the ongoing recovery in the months to come.

Now accepting donations in support of Kerrville, Hill Country communities, and all Texas flood victims. HEB also has scan barcodes to donate to disaster relief. Ask your cashier. They will scan and add to you purchase in $1, $3, $5 increments. HEB started in Kerrville and their disaster relief team is here helping!

Reece Zunker, and his wife, Paula Zunker, are friends of my family that lost their lives in the Kerr County flood this past weekend. As of today, their two young children, Holland & Lyle, are still missing. You can purchase the shirt below to help this family. 100% profits will go to the Zunker Family.

Local Businesses to Support

If you are passionate about the arts, our local theatre, the Hill Country Arts Foundation, suffered immense damage from the floods. 

The Deitert Center is a nonprofit in Kerrville that does great things for Meals on Wheels, seniors, and more in our community. They were impacted by the flooding as well and accepting donations

The Kerrville Nature Center visitor center and grounds suffered significant damage - please donate to help us restore them so that they can resume their programs.
